Not the biggest, but a really impressive physique. Before my discovery of bodybuilders, I had a ‘gateway toy’ of sorts in ‘Big Jim’, an action figure of the early 70s in the ‘G.I. Joe’ type, but oriented toward sports instead of war. What made ‘Big Jim’ special was that he was muscular, and his rubber arms flexed into pretty impressive biceps. Seeing this handsome man’s compact, yet near-perfect development makes me think of that old doll of mine.
