Michael (Juwa) La Vonce (b. 1933, Warren, Illinois) had moved to California and was working as commercial fisherman & construction foreman when Bob Mizer persuaded him to shoot this posing clip for AMG. Along with pix published in Physique Pictorial, Bob gave Juwa's stats as 5' 11", 169#, biceps 15.5 (with 12.8 forearms), waist 29.75, with "leg from crotch to floor 33.5," adding that he worked out regularly at Vic Tanny's. There would have been much more of this studly fellow to enjoy today if his wife hadn't strongly objected to the modeling work (and related gigs) Bob very quickly arranged for him within the moneyed enclaves of LA and environs. 12 years agoI love this old "physique" stuff - the black and white, the greased hair, the posing straps and g-strings. It's the erotica of my childhood. I agree with you guys about g strings & modern bodybuilding(though my favourite is the thong), but it has been getting better of late. Back in the 70s and 80s there was far less butt on show.

12 years agoSadly wearing g-strings to reveal the entire glute muscle in major body building is still taboo? due to out dated puritan or other
religious belief..etc. The male Ass is just to beautiful.

12 years agoBodybuilders today should be wearing g-strings/posing straps that completely show off the glutes like they did back in the day. The butt is a muscle after all!
