Tom was featured in the very first muscle mag I ever bought, after a year or so of furtive browsing in local bookstores. He was in his early 20s, had won a state title, and his legs were already noteworthy though not as huge as they’d become. For a 13 year old kid confusingly beginning a lifelong muscle obsession, he was a special early find. Due to school/finances, I mostly put aside the mags through his pro career, but I did get the occasional glimpse of those monumental legs.
I had a huge crush on TP in th elate 80s and early 90s and he was always around in Santa Monica esp at the Blockbuster - the nicest guy in the world and always great Corvettes
