I agree with tinkmmv and g8. Plain unfussy backgrounds are so much better rather than what some comp organisers use when it looks too busy and sometimes downright "TACKY"

Yes, I htink black backgrounds (or purple) should be mandatory. I've seen contests where the backdrop is so busy with ads, writing and bright colours that the muscle disappears.

This is a wonderful clip of Haidar. Not only does he look great, but the black background gives great picture quality. Really loved it.
