This wholesome-looking youth started posing (as 'Karl Kruger') for AMG at 16, and only later became better known as Phil Knight when he worked for Bruce--who often paired him with another high-school-heartthrob type, Dave Zurborg. The ever-chatty Bob Mizer reported that Karl hoped to finance going to medical school by working part-time....as a gardener. (Yes, this movie loop has a wonderful you-are-there clarity to it, and kudos to Justin for posting it!)
