He was the last in a long line of gorgeous blond musclemen who epitomized the golden beach-god ethos that inspired so many young men to pursue bodybuilding. Soon thereafter, such beauty was displaced by baldness & bubble-guts. He’s not as divine here as he was in his brief long-haired phase, when he seemed to embody the sexiest Frazetta barbarian posters come alive, but the arm close-ups are positively orgasmic, especially in slo-mo.
