Even though I was lucky enough to experience this golden age of muscle for myself, the vagaries of TV schedules and work demands forced me to miss many such broadcasts, so this was a sweet & surprising treat. Many of these guys, if not new to me, had slipped from memory, and I could easily dedicate a fun wank session to each one, especially the dreamy Herr Grossler. I DID recall Luiz Freitas from the mags but forgot how hot he was, and his monstrous legs here took me to ecstasy.
I wish someone would do a history tracing how classical music has been used in contests over the years. How long, for instance, was "Also sprach Zarathustra" (i.e. "2001") heard everywhere? Or "Carmina Burana"? And what have been the most recent fads in that area? What piece now seems inexorably headed for cliche-dom?

13 years agoWhat a trip! I had forgotten Luis Frietas, but well reminded of just how fine Geir Paulsen always looked!
