The MVJ guys really knew how to shoot (and edit) muscle, spurning artsy tricks and distracting cuts and letting the guys shine. They just HAD to share our proclivities, unabashedly giving us lovingly long takes, with periodic closeups, that capture such godlike physiques in their entirety. I never saw their amzingly orgasmic work, which ironically overlapped with my favorite muscle era, until years later, for which I’m thankful as it would have drained me then both financially and physically.
