I agree. Would be great to know that Mike knows the respect and admiration his fans had and still have for him. Having trod his long and arduous bodybuilding path and made huge sacrifices to be one of the most fantastic physiques ever, I'd like to think he takes great pride in what he achieved and the amount of pleasure he bought to all who followed him.

I hope Mike occasionally searches himself and finds the comments that show how loved and appreciated he was when he was competing. The agony and pain he went through to look this exceptional may not have seemed worth it to him - but do his fans ever appreciate it. A spectacular looking human being!

I remember the first time I discovered Mike in a magazine. It was like something from another planet had landed. To me he was the ultimate and most complete bodybuilder, it wasn't just the muscles but the personality, charisma and sexiness that made it work so well. Several times watching him pose just his calves did it for me. Anyone else find these the sexiest calves in the world?

Yes he did suffered from a heart attack. Read online the main cause was that his diet consisted of to much of red meat contributing a strain on the heart.
