Here's another loop shot by Lou Thomas in the late 70s, after he and then-boy friend Jim French had split--with French (and the Colt brand they had developed) relocating in LA while Thomas stayed in New York and launched Target Studio. Mail-order marketed as two silent 10-minute (super-8) segments, the movie was later transferred to tape for various VHS collections, sometimes under the title 'Pool Piece.' Although Chuck Samson and Don Scott were never as famous as other Target models, their performance is a notable example of the so-called "softcore porn" put out during the years it took jurists to distinguish between pornography and obscenity. Since both "appealed primarily to prurient interests," it was hard for the bluenoses to tell one from the other until, in ludicrous desperation, they ruled that unless one of the three orfices usually involved in sex was actually penetrated on camera the action was not obscene--and therefore illicit. Having scrupulously avoided any such visible pokings,"Pool Party" was good to go--and to be sent via the US postal service. And for that same reason, I'm posting it among the regular videos instead of in the adult section.
