Muscle Tarzan

The movie Tarzans I knew, growing up in the 70s, did not sport long hair, but my favorites (Gordon Scott, Mike Henry) had big, sexy muscles, laying the groundwork for the fascination that later seized me in puberty. Long hair was definitely in fashion then, and, even if I could never grow it so fetchingly myself, I did value a nice mane on a hot guy. The Conan comics of that same era wedded that look to a muscular physique, so, ever since, that combo has been a surefire trigger for me.
