While I've enjoyed many of TallSteve's visual riffs, I'm not sure what he was after in morphing this little masterpiece--one of a celebrated series of AMG pix featuring John Tristram (on his knees--as well he should be) and Forrest D'Orlac (aka Forrester Millard) lightly clenching his glutes in a perfect blend of dread and anticipation. Throughout a half-century of gazing at this photo (which must surely rank among the top ten butt shots of the Golden Age of Beefcake) I've often pondered the truth of Boyd Macdonald's description of the male ass-crack as the 'the Divine Sculptor's single most inspired stroke.'
