I just got a message from hahababa1980 which, for some reason, I'm unable to answer via the site's internal system. But since his question--what's the best source for vintage pix of black models?--might be shared by others, let me reply to it right here. Far and away the biggest & best depository of ALL vintage-thru-retro stuff is: http://www.timinvermont.com/vintage/index.html. A veritable Aladdin's Cave of treasures--including hi-rez photos, complete magazine scans (over 17,000 & counting), brochures, & film clips, it's a very modestly priced paysite, arguably the best bargain ever on the Internet. It's notably rich in black materials from such retro studios as David Alexander, Sierra Domino, Third World, Mandingo et al, and includes several studios of the vintage era (Lon of NY, Al Urban) that featured the finest black BBs to be found in NY-area gyms from the 1940s thru the 60s. (One such, seen here in a very rare & engaging studio pose by Lon, is the great LEROY COLBERT.)
