    That was Richard Dubois (aka 'Richard Sabre' here) and Jerry Ross posing right after Reeves. (And I guess that was Edmund Purdom in the audience. Forgot what a gawjus beauty HE was!)

    this was the first time I saw anything like a bodybuilding comp. this got me started lifting!

    Love Steve. It is so hot to see musclemen exert their muscles. Even though the 1000 lbs alone is fantasy, Steve is beautiful in executing the lift. Funny part is the ease of control lowering the weight. It proved how light the barbell actually was, "Hollywood."
