Back in the early days of the web, trawling for often elusive muscle content, I remember visiting some sites that featured muscle ‘stories’. The ‘writing’ was generally awful, so I never lingered for long, but sometimes a concept would spark further rumination, such as a muscled-up ‘Archie Comics’ scenario. This big, blond stud is tailor-made for visualizing any Moose Malloy fantasy, the epitome of a football lineman turned muscle beast. Or a husky ‘farm boy’ removing his shirt in the sun . . .
