Born in N. Carolina in 1945, NEIL SCOTT grew up in Washington D. C. and didn't get to LA until he was 22. An expert tree-topper (hard work that kept his naturally fine body in good shape), he found far steadier & more lucrative employment along Selma Avenue and inside the nearby Spotlight Lounge--where an AMG talent scout recruited him to pose for Bob Mizer. Though they did a fair number of nude stills, this solo shoot seems to be the only movie footage there is of him, and the CUs suggest that he was every bit the heartbreaker Bob described. "[He] plays the guitar," he added, "reads sex magazines, likes to swim and says he likes women." Even though the "nearly equilateral triangulation" of his nipple-to-nipple-to-navel stats "limited the [sort of] expressive posing possible in fellows with longer torsos," Neil's 6' 180# frame lent itself to the shadow-boxing and other athletic exertions that put his junk (uncut & prettily made) in motion for the camera--a substitute for jacking that caused such loops to be called 'danglies' in the business.
